Deb Carr graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.  Her accounting career began early on as a Co-op student.   Traveling to Lancaster, PA each year for "tax season" and then returning to Boston to complete her education.  Once she earned her CPA in 1996 she relocated to Lancaster full time.
